curator, writer, art historian
Hannah comes from the United States, a native of Boston, MA. She is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University in New York where she received a combined B.A. degree in Art History and Studio Art. Working for New York City’s Percent for Art Program within the Department of Cultural Affairs, Hannah was able to work in partnership with a diverse community of artists, architects, city planners and others to realize unique, permanent public art projects throughout New York.
Her experiences with artists through this program inspired a move to do similar work internationally.
In 2008 Hannah worked for a contemporary Indian painter in New Delhi and helped organize a film festival in Bhubaneswar, India. In the spring of 2009 she relocated to Berlin where she has worked for a contemporary art gallery and currently works for a Berlin-based non-profit organization and as an artist assistant. An interest in art and museum education will draw her to graduate school in the future, but until that time she enthusiastically pursues art education opportunities and collaborations with artists and organizations in Berlin.
